Mid-October Community Newsletter

From BBQs to community conversations and events across the province, here's a look back on the last few weeks.

A Message From Your MPP

As I prepare to head back to Queen’s Park next week, I’m reflecting on the conversations I have had with constituents over the past months. To me, representation is learning what’s on your mind and what matters most in our community. Your stories guide the work I do on your behalf and ensure that Nepean’s voice is heard at the legislature.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Along with my regular work in Nepean, I had a busy September attending events across the province:

International Plowing Match - September 16th

Spent the day with my caucus colleagues in Smithville, Ontario, participating in the 2025 International Plowing Match. It was great to meet and speak with Ontario farmers and members of our agricultural community.
